One pair of hands

Made slowly. Worn often.

Gloamweald is a one-person chainmail project made in Brisbane, Australia.

Gloam + weald

A name from the edge of the forest.

GloamDusk or twilight.WealdAn old word for woodland.

I build each piece myself from stainless steel jump rings and carefully chosen findings.

It is small-scale work: opened, linked, checked, and closed one ring at a time.

The name lives somewhere between twilight woodland and worked metal: a little gloom, a little wield, a little weld, and just enough weird.
